The Armidale Diocesan Investment Group (ADIG) was established in 1974 by Bishop Harry Kennedy.
Since then it has been commissioned by the Bishops of Armidale to assist them in advancing the pastoral work of the Catholic Church in the Diocese of Armidale. This is done in the following ways:
- providing all the loan finance required by the Diocese, parishes, schools and other organisations within the Diocese.
a cash distribution to the Diocese enable the Bishop to fund the ongoing expenses of various Diocesan activities.
Each year the ADIG also provides a cash distribution to each parish.
