Loving God, Creator and Father of us all,
you have called me to share in the mission of Jesus,
by teaching children the traditions, fruits and
gifts of our Catholic faith.
Help me to be faithful to my calling,
dedicated in my preparation,
and truthful in my presentation.
Fill me with your Holy Spirit.
May your gifts of wisdom, understanding,
right judgment, knowledge,
courage, reverence and
a spirit of wonder and awe
be with me in every moment.
Grant me the grace to be gentle and kind
thoughtful and caring,
understanding and loving,
in all my ways of ministering.
May they all come to know you,
and love You more deeply,
from the Light of Christ that I carry with me
and share with them.
